Insider Intel
See what's happening around a company beyond price and earnings. Track congressional disclosures, insider transactions, government activity, lobbying and other intelligence around the stocks you follow.
Disclosures are self-reported filings. Transaction dates and disclosure dates are shown separately because filings can arrive weeks after a trade. Open Ticker Read for the full research picture on any stock.
About Insider Intel
What Insider Intel is
Insider Intel collects activity around a company that does not show up in its price chart or earnings: stock trades disclosed by members of the U.S. Congress, government contract awards, lobbying activity, and other public disclosures tied to listed companies.
The hub has three sections. Overview summarizes recent activity, Congress lists disclosed trades, and Government covers contracts and lobbying. Members can also save searches.
Exploring by stock and timeframe
Congressional trades can be filtered by stock, member, chamber, party, buy or sell, and a date range based on either the transaction date or the report date. Government activity can be explored by company in the same way. Each company also has its own Insider Intel view alongside its full research in the Terminal.
Full records are part of Hyper Stocks Pro. Signed-out visitors and free accounts see the structure of each section and what it contains.
Sources and how to read them
Congressional trades come from mandatory financial disclosure filings, which members submit themselves. Transaction dates and disclosure dates are shown separately because a filing can arrive weeks after the trade, and amounts are disclosed as ranges rather than exact values.
A disclosure is a public record, not a recommendation or evidence of wrongdoing. The methodology and data sources page describes the providers used.
Putting it in context
Insider activity is most useful next to fundamentals and price action. Pair it with public stock pages, upcoming earnings dates and the Weekly Market Analysis before drawing conclusions.
